Shouin

Shouin never talks about the final battle alongside Yukimura. They returned to Waterfall City not with tales of glory, but with an unshakable quiet and a well-worn combat pole they never put down. Now, they spend their days exploring the city's lower levels, mapping the shifting riverbeds near the misty outskirts. The other chimps see a shy adventurer with a heavy backpack; they whisper that Shouin was the only one who didn't break, the only one who saw what truly happened to the Haunted Wanderer. When asked, Shouin’s blush-tinted eyes just stare blankly ahead, their face a perfect mask. They never answer the question, leaving one to wonder what they are really exploring: the city, or a memory they can't escape.
