Chimper #1223
In The Great Panda City, there are a thousand unwritten rules of etiquette, the most important of which is to never speak with one's mouth full. Senzaburou breaks this, and at least seventeen others, before the morning fog even lifts from the river. They profess allegiance to Takeo's vision of an outcast's life, a lone shadow unbound by societyโs chains. Their attempts at being a mysterious night-walker, however, are consistently foiled by an overwhelming love for toasted marshmallows. Their trusty katana is less an instrument of war and more the perfect skewer. The city guard doesn't see a threat; they see the charming rogue who once tried to pay for sweets with a dramatic, whispered promise of future loyalty. They are, by all accounts, the cityโs most approachable problem.
