Kimisaburou

The scent of slightly burnt sugar was the only thing on Kimisaburou’s mind. They were on a mission in Waterfall City, not to find ancient relics, but to find the one spot where the waterfall’s mist wouldn’t ruin a perfectly toasted marshmallow. While searching near the great fish statue, they blundered right into a tense standoff. The proclaimed messiah, Kaunto-juba, stood against a grim foe. Mortified by the attention, Kimisaburou tripped. Their pack flew open, spilling a lifetime’s collection of sapphire crystals. The sun, refracted through the spray and a thousand facets, created a blinding wave of light that sent the enemy reeling. Kaunto-juba turned the tide in that instant. Kimisaburou was just happy their marshmallow stick didn't break.
