Chimper #1515
Kinashinokarunomiko has always preferred the company of fish to chimps. Despite a polished platinum coat that should have placed them among the elite in the upper plazas of Waterfall City, their spirit was drawn to the misty outskirts below. They found the hurried commerce of the city hollow, choosing instead the patient solitude of the riverbank, their ragged jumper a comfortable uniform. The other chimps saw a shy outcast, but they were simply listening to a different storyโthe one told by the water. Elders dismissed tales of a great, pale fish in the deepest pools as folklore. Kinashinokarunomiko believed them. Now they spend their days learning the river's every secret, not to prove the others wrong, but to prove the old stories right.
