Menue

The locals in The Heart of the Forest whisper that Menue was Sensei's most promising student, sent to their amber-leaved home to study the flow of life itself. They see the robes, the intense focus as Menue pores over ancient-looking scrolls, and the adventurer's sword at their back. They assume the scrolls contain forgotten philosophies and the sword is for defending sacred knowledge. Menue encourages these assumptions with a knowing side smile. The truth is, Sensei taught them only one thing: the art of the perfect ramen. The scrolls are recipe books, the intense focus is for balancing flavors, and the sword is exceptionally good for thinly slicing rare river-kelp.
