Chimper #1664
The constant roar of the falls is a sound Karuma has learned to ignore, much like they ignore the self-serious sermons of Itan-sha. They were exiled together, two heretics cast from the temple for whispering of a different kind of god. But where Itan-sha found solemn purpose in their shared fate, Karuma found the punchline to a magnificent joke. The ramen bowl became a permanent fixture after Itan-sha declared a week of fasting; Karuma showed up with a hot meal and fixed the empty bowl to their head as a new crown. These days, their theological debates are settled with combat poles by the fishing docks, each parry a counter-argument. Itan-sha fights for devotion. Karuma fights for the sheer joy of the dance.
