How does one accidentally become the most revered bodyguard in Waterfall City? For Kikurou, it simply took a gifted fan, a practical mask to keep river spray away, and a very confused diplomat. They were guarding the Gilded Carp pond when an official from the Panda Council arrived, saw the panda insignia on the fan, and assumed Kikurou was their covert escort. The diplomat spoke in code about 'dangerous currents'; Kikurou, thinking they meant fishing, earnestly described the best spots downstream. The diplomat praised their subtle communication. By the time the real escort arrived, Kikurou had a city-wide reputation as a master of disguise—a rumor they remain happily unaware of while tending to their koi.
