Tsunon

The only shadow in The Teikodian Empire that the sun cannot erase is Tsunon. They move through gilded corridors and across white marble halls, a whisper in blackout gear. Their partner, Tsukiri, remembers a different chimper—one with clear eyes and a steady hand before their joint assignment deep in the palace dungeons. They were sent to retrieve an artifact from one of Isha's forgotten laboratories. Tsukiri returned with the target; Tsunon returned with something else lodging itself behind their eyes. The traditional mutton chops and grey bandana remain, but their gaze is now possessed by a chilling stillness, watching a reality layered over this one. Tsukiri never asks what they saw down there, only wonders what Tsunon sees when they stare straight through them.
