Chimper #1887
Anzanko did not set out to become a culinary icon. Their instincts were for shadows and secrets, not for perfecting the bounce of a rice cake. Yet, their mochi stand is a fixture in the main plaza of Waterfall City, their fashionable red bow a landmark for hungry locals. The problem is, their night-walker lineage is a disaster for customer service. They move so silently they constantly startle their patrons, leaving Anzanko with a permanent look of shock as if a simple request for tea were a state secret revealed. They sometimes wonder about their origins, a mystery they feel a strange kinship over with the reclusive Tamago. A customer once complimented their hip specs, and Anzanko was so stunned they dropped an entire tray of dango into a passing fishing boat.
