Chimper #1928
What good is a victory if you can't find a decent drink afterwards? Towami asks their patrol partner this at least twice a day, usually while navigating the bamboo-lined streets under a pale purple sky. Their long-suffering partner insists that guarding the city requires vigilance, not constant beverage-seeking. The title โthe Triumphantโ wasnโt won in some grand battle. It was earned after a week-long, city-wide chase that ended with Towami catching a rogue messenger-toad that had stolen a dignitaryโs prized teacup. The mission was a success, but mostly because Towami wanted to see what kind of tea was in the cup. They returned the item, grinning, and immediately declared it was time for a celebratory drink. Their partner just sighed. They always do.
