Chimper #1936
The air in The Underworld always tasted of scorched rock and old regret, a smell Anzuko found almost comforting. Their companion, Sourukipa, did not. The two sought the same legendary blade, making them rivals by definition, but allies by necessity. When cultists ambushed them near a lava flow, Sourukipa fought with grim purpose while Anzuko fought with a grin, their ancient sabre a blur of motion. They were an odd pair: one driven by solemn duty, the other by the sheer joy of a worthy quest. They agreed long ago that the moment they found the sword, their partnership would end. Until then, Anzuko shares their rations, tells terrible jokes, and polishes their sabre tooth helmet, knowing that the best adventures are never undertaken alone.
