Chimper #1946
Aritsu cast their line into the pool, the lure a speck of silver against the waterโs surface, which reflected the spinning monoliths of the sky. The wizards of The Crystal Highlands of Armaria used these pools to see the future, but Aritsu was after something more tangible: solidified sunset. When the light hit the water just right, tiny motes of color would crystallize and sink, useless for grand magic but perfect for pendants. Being undead, Aritsu never tired of waiting. The constant, gentle trickle of water from their own face was a soothing rhythm, a reminder that even for them, things kept flowing. They'd trade their haul for old stories, a new pair of specs, or just a warm patch to sit, bringing a bit of simple joy to a world of impossible science.
