Terusaburou

Terusaburou was the worst training partner in The Great Panda City. Paired with a stoic prodigy from the Panda Council, their every patrol was a symphony of flustered apologies and wide-eyed gasps. While their partner moved with the silent grace of the freezing mountain winds, Terusaburou tripped over bamboo roots and got their wooly shoulder pads snagged on doorways. It was during a patrol near the city’s edge that a tremor sent a cascade of rocks down the path. The prodigy’s formal stances were useless against the chaos. But Terusaburou, thinking only of survival, jammed their own thick cloak into a crevice, creating a tiny, life-saving alcove. They don’t talk about it, but their partner now always makes sure Terusaburou’s cloak is properly fastened before they leave.
