Surara

In The Great Panda City, they say the highest peaks attract the most lightning, and the most impressive hair attracts the most assumptions. Surara once had perfectly normal cocoa-brown hair and a quiet life writing terrible poems. That life vanished in a puff of steam during the Great Tea Incident, when they tried to brew a special blend to impress the famed minstrel, Shijin. The concoction didn't produce enlightenment, but it did flash-bleach their hair a permanent, shocking white. They lost their anonymity that day, replaced by a reputation as a mystic touched by spiritual energy. Now, chimps hang on their every flustered word, seeking wisdom in verses about oddly shaped clouds. Surara just tries not to blush when Shijin passes by with a knowing wink.
