Chimper #1976
When the raiders swept through their village in The Heart of the Forest, Nanara fought with the ferocity of the wolves they revered in Mesuokami’s name. It was not enough. They were scarred and left for dead near the communal kitchens, and upon waking, the elders saw not a survivor but a failure who had brought ruin. They were exiled with nothing but their clothing and a single, empty ramen bowl—a cruel reminder of the feasts they could no longer share. In their grief, Nanara placed the bowl upon their head. It ceased to be a vessel for nourishment and became a container for their shame. They are a lone wolf in truth now, and the bowl only ever serves to catch the falling rain.
