Chimper #2197
“The problem isn’t a lack of focus, it’s a surplus,” Chitomi would tell anyone who asked about the broth stains on Yutsuka’s haori. In The Heart of the Forest, where life moves at a gentle pace, Yutsuka’s concentration is legendary. They can sit by the river for days, poker-faced and unmoving, feeling the tug of a single fish miles away. The trouble is, they often use their own head as a temporary resting place for their lunch. Lost in some deep meditative state, they’ll forget the bowl of ramen is there until a slight nod sends it cascading down. Yutsuka rarely even blinks. Chitomi, however, has perfected the art of dabbing soy sauce from fabric, sighing fondly the entire time.
