Jeshika

Jeshika remembers the taste of honey-sap gathered from the amber-leaved trees, a sweetness they carried with them from The Heart of the Forest. To their comrades under Minamoto’s banner, Jeshika is the embodiment of what they fight for: a serene warrior, steeped in tradition, whose calm is a fortress against the world’s chaos. They see the meticulous way Jeshika cares for their haori, the patience in their movements, and they are inspired. But on the battlefield, a different truth emerges. The tranquility vanishes, replaced by a cold, efficient rage that burns behind their eyes. The other warriors assume it is righteous fury for a world under siege. They are wrong. Jeshika doesn't fight to protect their home; they fight to earn the right to return and burn down a single tree.
