Rimuna did not earn their Gem Coat through arcane mastery or valiant deeds. The senior wizards of The Crystal Highlands of Armaria will confess, after a drink or two, that it was a laboratory accident involving a teleportation mishap and a cart full of uncut, decorative quartz. The coat and Rimuna just sort of… fused. The local miners say the Guiding Lanterns on their back don't lead to lost monoliths, but they are excellent for finding the best spot to watch the sunset from. As for the choc stick, a visiting scholar once theorized it was a focus for immense, hidden power. They were promptly offered a bite and told it was just a snack. Most have learned not to ask; following Rimuna for answers usually just leads to a very comfortable place to sit.
