Chimper #2728
“Don’t be fooled by the feather cape and sword,” a Panda Council member once remarked. “Their only true allegiance is to that tea garden.” And it was true. Zougorou carried the articles of a past life but lived firmly in the present of The Great Panda City. They were once a noble adventurer, their name whispered in distant halls. But the chilling high-altitude winds of the city seemed to blow away ambition, leaving only a quiet determination. They spent their days meticulously trimming the bamboo groves they shared with Panda, a single fallen leaf often catching in their hair. When imperial couriers arrived with sealed scrolls, Zougorou would simply offer them tea, their shades reflecting the purple-hued sky, until the messengers left in confused silence.
