Wizards in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria whisper that Machiho the Active never stops. They saw them scale a monolith in a single afternoon, combat pole flashing in the sunset. What they didn't see was the particularly brazen kestrel that had just stolen their jam on toast. Machiho’s legendary determination, it turns out, is directly proportional to their proximity to a good snack. This is why Yuki, the famed Beast Slayer, walks the frozen paths with them. Not for glory, but because watching a warrior traverse a treacherous cliff face just to retrieve a dropped berry is endlessly entertaining. The 'Active' title stuck after Machiho sprinted across three valleys to catch a merchant before they sold the last jar of sun-peach preserves.
