Chimper #2865
When Shijin the Minstrel passed through The Great Panda City, they found Koyoka not in a bustling plaza, but alone in a dusty workshop, surrounded by the scent of cherrywood shavings. Koyoka carved canes, each one a silent story of the bamboo forests and the cityโs high-altitude winds. Known for their intense focus, they spoke little, letting their hands do the talking. Shijin didn't ask for a song. Instead, they picked up a gnarled staff and asked for its tale. For the first time in years, Koyoka spoke at length, describing the woodโs life. Shijin listened, then smiled. "You write poetry with a blade." That was all it took. The cane Koyoka carries now is their first unfinished poem, and the world is their library.
