Chimper #3009
After the last of the terraforming engines they installed with Roketto hummed to life, Tsuganashi felt a strange emptiness. They had brought life to dead worlds but had never truly lived in one. So they traded silent starscapes for a city where the roar of a great waterfall never ceased. They became a messenger, their Lightspeed Suit a flash of ruby against the pale stone and spray. They loved learning the city's rhythms: the plaza gossip, the winding rock stairs, the chatter of fishers on the lower docks. One day, delivering a birthday invitation, a small child gave them a slice of cake in thanks. Tsuganashi placed it on their head, a sweet, silly trophy worth more than any colonized planet.
