Takujirou

In The Great Panda City, they say the wind whispers secrets, but a stomach’s roar is truth. Takujirou lives by this proverb. Once tasked by the Panda Council to deliver a crucial bamboo cultivation scroll, their journey was immediately compromised by a terrible suspicion. Another traveler, carrying a nearly identical backpack, was clearly an Imperial spy. Takujirou began a cunning pursuit, which mostly involved following the target from one ramen stall to the next. To maintain cover, they had to order a bowl at each stop, squinting over the steaming broth to watch their quarry. After three days, they cornered the terrified “spy,” only to discover it was a junior courier sent to bring Takujirou the lunch they’d left behind.
