Chimper #3116
In Waterfall City, they say the river can wash away anything but the truth. Itsujirou knows this better than most. Before the carved cane and the stall selling polished stones, they were simply a listener, drawn to the forbidden doctrines Itan-sha shared in shadowed corners. They never sought power, only understanding. But understanding was deemed heresy, and for that, they were exiled alongside their teacher. The long walk into the unknown wore down their hope but sharpened their gaze. They chose Waterfall City for its overwhelming noise, a place where the cascade's roar might drown out the past. They trade simple trinkets now, keeping their head low, but the uneasy look never leaves their face. Their eyes hold a light that doesn't belong among the fishmongers and boatwrights.
