Chimper #3159
The week of the Great Carp Gala, Munika was only supposed to deliver a crate of spiced river-nuts to the kitchens. But their Red Panda mask, worn as a nod to their Panda Council allies, was mistaken by a flustered guard for the sigil of the official food inspector. Before they could explain, they were ushered up the rock-carved stairs and presented with the ceremonial carp stew. Not wanting to offend, Munika tasted it and politely noted it was 'a bit one-dimensional.' The head chef, terrified of a bad review, began adding ingredients at random: sweet blossom nectar, sour-root, and a pinch of volcanic salt. By the time the real inspector arrived, the stew was a chaotic masterpiece. Munika is now hailed as a culinary visionary, an honor they studiously avoid by pretending to have lost their sense of taste.
