Chimper #3345
When the rains finally stopped after a month of endless downpour, they found Kuniomi sitting beside the colossal ribcage of a long-dead beast. They were supposed to be a trainee, lost and presumed dead in the fog-choked valleys. But the chimper who returned was not lost at all. Their cat companion, once a simple fren, now had eyes that mirrored the stormy sky, its fur crackling with faint energy. They never spoke of what happened out there. Instructors noted a change, a focus so intense it was unnervingโa transformation of spirit some compared to Oda's, but without any known battle to redeem. These days, they follow their cat into secret tunnels beneath the scorched earth, and no one dares to ask where they go.
