Chimper #3667
The rock wizards have a saying: 'Clarity comes from splitting stone, not a festival glow.' Kimieko, with their gleeful whiskers and perpetually bright lantern, is a walking contradiction to that creed. When they first arrived among the spinning monoliths, their 'warrior' title was a joke among the scholars. Then Wayoko, a promising apprentice, vanished inside the midnight-dark fortress during a failed experiment. The greatest mages threw complex spells at the walls, but the arcane interference was too strong. Kimieko just walked in. Their lantern's light didn't shatter the illusions; it simply made them irrelevant. They found Wayoko lost in a maze of fear and led them out by the hand. The wizards still don't understand the magic behind it, but Wayoko does.
