Chimper #3769
If one were to follow the trail of splintered bamboo and groaning mercenaries up the stone steps of Waterfall City, they would find Kozueko apologizing profusely to a dented fish statue. The whole mess started over a misplaced foot. A group of river pirates mistook the chimp's dreamy, star-gazing expression for weakness and tried to shove them aside. It wasnโt the push that did it. It was the sound of their perfectly sorted, hand-sanded bamboo stalks clattering across the plaza stones. Onlookers swore they saw the battle fury of Hiro ignite in Kozuekoโs eyes. Kozueko, however, only remembers a flash of pure, meticulous artistโs rage. They came to surrounded by wreckage, with a new bruise on their cheek from a self-inflicted whack, mortified at having disturbed the peace.
