Sakuka

A well-worn poncho, a silly meow cap, and three stripes of red paint applied with more hope than skill. Sakuka wasn't born an explorer; they just got lost frequently. During one such detour from The Great Panda City's main road, they stumbled upon a small, forgotten shrine where Maneki-neko was napping in a sunbeam. Instead of running, Sakuka shared their bamboo lunch. Amused by their earnestness, the fortune-bringer blessed them not with skill, but with luck. Since that day, Sakuka's explorations have been a series of happy accidents. They trip and discover a patch of rare mountain herbs. They take a wrong turn and find a lost Panda cub. The war paint they copied from a guard is seen by locals as a charming quirk, and their perpetually shocked expression is just the face of someone constantly surprised by their own good fortune.
