Homarei

The fishers down by the plaza in Waterfall City will tell you that Homarei isn't the real warrior; the duck is. They say Mr. Quack dictates every battle plan with a series of cryptic honks and head-tilts. Other warriors, trying to uphold the serious heritage of Minamoto, whisper that Homarei is an embarrassment, a chimp whose most famous sparring partner is a waterfowl. But even they can't explain how Homarei, following a sudden, panicked flutter from Mr. Quack, managed to trip and accidentally disarm a visiting sword master. Homarei themself just wanted a quiet life of disciplined training. They found the duckling shivering by the falls and offered it a bit of rice; it has refused to leave their head ever since.
