Koyura

The bamboo vendors in The Great Panda City whisper that Koyura was not born, but kneaded into existence from moonlight and mountain flour. They claim Koyura and their sibling, Nakanosuke, were once a single entity, a perfect warrior-chef, split in two by a jealous spirit. Koyura was left with the hands of a master cook and the silent step of a shadow. By day, they serve dango that can mend a broken heart. By night, they are a masked phantom watching over the rooftops. The tactical goggles, a gift from Nakanosuke, are said to let Koyura see the world as it should be—with both halves united, a vision they are determined to one day make real.
