They found Hagane pinned beneath a shattered geode after a misfired spell, their energy fading with the sunset in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria. The rescue was instinctual, a guardian's duty. Hagane's reaction was anything but. Instead of gratitude, they offered a challenge: a duel every week until the debt was erased by defeat. These days, Shougo’s azure visor hides the anxious energy that builds before each fight. They don't want to win. They just want Hagane to be strong enough that they never need saving again. Hagane, however, only sees an opponent to be bested.
