Shunri

The carved cane Shunri carries has seen more action than most swords in The Great Panda City, a fact Shunri finds deeply irritating. They came to the high-altitude city for the quiet and the cold, hoping the freezing winds would finally cool a spirit that burned too hot for too long. They had no intention of being a warrior again. But word travels. The Panda Council heard stories of an old traveler with squinting eyes who disarmed three smugglers with what looked like a walking stick. They see a fearless spirit, one they whisper is like Yuji's, and make offers of armor and a place on the wall. Shunri refuses every time. They are retired. The cane is for support. If it happens to break a few jaws along the way, that’s just a consequence of the city’s uneven cobblestones.
