Wawami

Wawami is a landmark in The Great Panda City. Other merchants will tell you their true currency is favors, not coin. They trade whispered warnings and safe passage, their guiding lanterns a common sight on the high mountain passes when the winds bite hardest. The Panda Council sees something else: an unofficial warden who tracks the city's pulse through gossip and traded goods. But ask any child, and they will point to the ever-present smudge of jam on Wawami's cheek and say their real business is snacks. Everyone agrees on one thing: Wawami knows far more than they let on, all behind a disarmingly sticky smile.
