Chimper #5177
The fishers at the bottom of Waterfall City claim Kahasu once ate an entire day's catch as payment for a single favor. What they don't mention is the small, pragmatic frog who arranged the deal. The two are an inseparable, if unlikely, pair. They met when Kahasu, a trainee with more ambition than sense, tried to intimidate a river merchant who outsmarted them at every turn. The frog, perched on a nearby barrel, saw not a failure, but a perfectly useful, if blunt, instrument. Since then, the frog plans their every move, whispering strategies from Kahasu’s shoulder. Kahasu provides the intense focus and physical presence to see them through. One is the mind, the other is the appetite.
