Motonosuke

Motonosuke was a follower of the warrior’s code, sworn to travel light and leave no trace. Their path was one of solitude, paved with the gilded principles of bushido. But in The Heart of the Forest, they met a local storyteller, someone whose words felt more like home than any dojo. As a parting gift, the storyteller gave them a small, lucky plant, its single green shoot a fragile promise. Motonosuke intended to leave at dawn, but found themself lingering, watching the sun filter through amber leaves, listening for another story. The code demanded they wander, but their heart demanded they stay. The gold on their face is a relic of a former life; the plant on their head is a sign of a new one.
