Toyomi is the only explorer at The Dojo who never speaks of their greatest journey. Trainees see the heavy, perfectly balanced rock chakra on their back and assume a mastery of mountain passes and deep earth. Toyomi encourages this, offering quiet advice on navigating treacherous peaks. But every night, their dreams betray the stone. They drift through deep-river currents, hearing the psychedelic whispers of Namazu. In these visions, the rock on their back is a cold anchor, a weight that keeps them from the water's truth. This is the source of their humility, the reason for their perpetually embarrassed gaze. They are a master of the earth who longs for a world they cannot enter, and no one knows which path they truly walk.
