Kogorou

After the energy finally settled, the whispers about Kogorou began. Their old rivals in the shadowed alleys of The Teikodian Empire say they were all fury and fists, a brawler who fought for coin and little else. They remember a storm waiting to break. A palace guard who saw the surge describes it differently: a blinding flash, a power that cracked the cobblestones. They say Kogorou vanished after, seeking out the mountain-born Sensei to learn control, to tame the force that had awakened inside them. But the young ones they train now? They just see a quiet teacher with a grey goatee and tired eyes, someone who moves with impossible stillness. They don't know the brawler or the cataclysm.
