The Gold-Capped Courier is the most punctual soul in The Crystal Highlands of Armaria. Every delivery is precise, every route memorized. They were tasked with delivering an arcane scroll—a key to sealing a volatile monolith—but an ambush and a moment of arrogance saw the scroll turned to ash. The resulting energy surge left a shimmering, silent scar on the landscape. Shame nearly consumed them. It was Mitsutoshi, then just a low-level researcher, who offered them a simple task: carry a letter across the fortress. Kunijuurou completed it perfectly. Then another. The sword on their back is now for cutting overgrown crystal vines, not foes. Their focus is absolute, a silent penance for the one message that went unheard.
