Chimper #1016
Three bowls of noodles, two deals struck, one lantern lit before sundown. That was a good day for Sanaya. They sat on a crate at the lower docks, the roar of the great falls a familiar song, haggling with a frog merchant over the price of silver-scaled river fish. Between slurps of broth, theyโd point with their chopsticks to make a point. Just as a price was agreed upon, a silent, floating disc zipped past. On it stood Aoi, tinkering with some glowing device. Aoi nodded once. Sanaya raised their bowl in salute. The frog merchant grumbled, distracted by the strange sight, and in that moment, Sanaya secured a better price. The deal was fair, the broth was perfect.
