Chimper #1048
The cool mist from the falls clings to Tsuneari’s facepaint, a constant reminder of the precision their craft demands. Every day, they train in the grand plaza of Waterfall City, the glowing lantern on their head bobbing with each theatrical parry. The townsfolk watch the spectacle, whispering about the ambitious trainee who so openly declares their intent to surpass the legendary Katana. They see the determined focus, the endless drills, the trusty blade that never seems to leave their side. They see a disciple obsessed with the art of the sword. What they fail to understand is that the sword is merely a prop. Tsuneari doesn't train to be a better swordsman than Katana; they train to convince the world they already are.
