Chimper #1115
When the great spinning stones above the midnight fortress began to wobble, the Rock Wizards panicked. They spoke of celestial imbalances and dark omens. Toshitsugu, assigned to guard the main gate, simply watched. Their partner for the watch, a grim wizard named Ren, muttered about forgotten rituals and catastrophic failure. For three days, Ren didn't sleep, poring over ancient charts. On the fourth morning, Toshitsugu arrived with two steamed buns and a kite made from spare parchment. They convinced Ren to join them on the fortress parapets. As the kite soared against a beautiful sunset, Ren finally laughed. The stones overhead, as if responding to the shift in mood, steadied their orbit. Ren calls it a coincidence. Toshitsugu just calls it good partnership.
