Mahoyo

Mahoyo was the fastest messenger in Waterfall City, and also the most easily distracted. They saw the city not as a series of routes, but as a grand playground, sliding down damp stone stairs and using their lanterns to chase reflections across the roaring falls. For this, they were trusted with packages, but never with secrets. That changed when a message arrived from Aoi, the rebel futurist. It was a cryptic request that every other courier dismissed as a fool's errand. Mahoyo, however, saw the ultimate game. They navigated the storm-slicked upper city and found Aoi not with a scroll, but with a vision of a future in peril. Aoi saw that Mahoyo’s chaotic pathfinding was exactly what was needed to outrun a coming paradox. These days, Mahoyo carries lanterns that hum with Aoi’s technology, their light cutting through more than just the city's mist.
