Chiyonosuke

The fishers down by the sprawling huts will tell you Chiyonosuke has two chimps in their head, and only one of them can read a map right-side up. One is the scholar, who pores over ancient texts in the pale stone temple that straddles the rushing water. The other wakes up some mornings convinced they are a legendary warrior, a hero with a past as foggy as Kiti's own. This is the one who once challenged the large fish statue in the plaza to a duel over a matter of honor, claiming victory when the statue refused to fight back. Their supposed wisdom arrives in gleeful, chaotic bursts. Their Adventure Sword is used less for slaying beasts and more for pointing at hard-to-reach scrolls on the temple's highest shelves.
