Chimper #1576
The scent of cold stone and rainwater filled the air as Yuukuu navigated the shadowed service tunnels of the Teikodian Empire. By day, they were a trainee, blending into the grandeur and gold. But by night, their guiding lanterns had a different purpose. They weren't lighting a path to glory, but illuminating forgotten corners for their secret art: tiny, joyful faces painted on pipes and archways, small rebellions against the capitalโs stern perfection. It was a quiet existence. Sometimes they imagined they felt a flicker of the same isolation as the cosmic being Eirianโa strange light in a world built of different stuff. A patrol clanged past overhead. Yuukuu just smiled behind their mask, touching up the chalk on a particularly goofy-looking dragon.
