Chimper #1923
Tsumi remembers the specific grain of the paper beneath their fingers, the dusty scent of charcoal, and the way the sun felt on their back as they sketched. That was before. In The Great Panda City, the freezing winds cut through their layered clothes, and there is no time for art. The beret they wear is less a statement and more a defense against the cold. These days, their keen artist's eye is a tool for survival, used alongside their partner, Shideko, to spot loose bamboo slats for mending shelters or notice the subtle shift in a Panda Council guard's posture. Tsumi keeps a perfect poker face for the bartering, a mask of practicality. But their eyes never lost their shame for the beautiful things they no longer create.
