The fishers of Waterfall City have a saying: “A fast current breaks on the rocks, but a patient one finds the sea.” Kuzaemon has always been the patient one. It is why no one understood when they first donned the mask—a perfect replica of the one worn by Narisumashi before their soul was trapped by evil energy. Most saw it as a terrible omen, but for Kuzaemon, it was a declaration. They set aside their life’s work, becoming a trainee once more in the city’s dojos. Kuzaemon studies every tale of Narisumashi’s berserk power, not to mimic it, but to find its counter. Their rivalry is a silent one, waged across time against a cursed legend, proving that the same face can house wisdom instead of rage.
