Chimper #2136
Every morning, without fail, Tamachi greets the river that flows through The Great Panda City. To the locals, they are a quirky, familiar sight: a sapphire chimp with a salmon for a hat, perpetually chewing a marshmallow stick. They know every back alley and bamboo-lined street, but their heart follows the water. They feel its long journey from some unknown mountain source, a constant whisper of a world beyond the city's high-altitude calm. The instinct to swim upstream, to discover where the river is born, is a physical pull they can barely ignore. They watch the current head downstream, towards everywhere they have not been, and wonder what waits at the beginning of the water.
