They lunged, aiming for a training dummy propped against a colossal dragon rib. At that exact moment, a very shiny beetle crawled across a nearby rock. Utterly distracted, Rariko's lunge devolved into a clumsy trip. The evolved power meant for the dummy erupted from the blade, instantly encasing a square mile of scorched plateau in a glacier. Kanoto sighed, pulling a small chisel from their pack. Rariko beamed, their puppy eyes wide with pride. "See? Tactical area denial! Your turn!"
