Minojirou

Minojirou’s staff is carved from a glacier's heart and hums a tune only collapsing stars understand. In The Heart of the Forest, its primary use is nudging stubborn acorns out of high branches. They arrived in their icy kimono seeking a nexus of ancient energy, not a community whose fiercest argument was over the proper seasoning for mushroom stew. At first, they tried to demonstrate true power, but their attempt to conjure a scrying pool only resulted in perfectly chilled soup for the entire village. These days, their mere presence seems to bless the harvest, an effect the locals attribute to good luck, much like finding a four-leaf clover. The smug smirk remains, but now it appears when they manage to trade a flawlessly conjured ice crystal for a warm berry pie.
